Current status and some problems of alimony recovery for minor

Currently in the State Duma of the Russian Federation there are several bills under consideration regarding changes in the alimentary law. This suggests that the issues of improving alimentary laws do not lose their relevance for several years. In our opinion, one of the problems of non-support, in our country is that the state of family law truly differs from modern realities. Family law in Russia remains at the level of 1995, when current Family Code was adopted. The author analyzes actual trends in the system of ensuring child support. The possibilities of state impact on child support non-payers are reviewed. On the basis of the experience of foreign countries to recover child support payments the author suggests some directions for improving the Russian alimentary legislation.
