Current state and prospects of physical education development in the USA schools

The given article deals with the state of physical education in modern schools, their advantages and disadvantages, the General model of the school curriculum. The education system in the USA is different from the Russian educational system, so there are differences in organization, objectives and content of the lessons. Recently there are many programs to improve physical education practice in the USA. Their main goal is to achieve the necessary level of students’ physical development.
