The article discusses current trends in the field of logistics services and the activities of functional operators. The active activity of 3PL providers is noted in connection with the dynamic development of the distribution sector. At the same time, the difficulties of growth of the modern logistics services market in the domestic economy are highlighted. Mechanisms for reducing these barriers to the development of logistics services are defined.
