Current state and problems of development of agricultural industrial complex in Altai krai

The article indicates the significant impact of the agro-industrial complex in general and agricultural production in particular on the economy of the Altai Territory, provides comparative data on the structure of agricultural production in the regions of the Siberian Federal District. The data on the volume of production by enterprises processing crop and livestock products are presented. The insufficient workload of their production capacities is indicated, measures are taken to eliminate this problem, which are aimed both at producers of agricultural raw materials of plant and animal origin, and directly at the processing enterprises themselves. The role of state support in the modernization of production processes in the agro-industrial complex of the region was especially noted.
