South Baikal lakeside endemic modern state of aise-weed (Aegopodium latifolium Apiaceae)

We investigated one of 7 kinds Aegopodium, growing on globe, - endema of the World site of natural heritage of Baikal the southern coast - Aegopodium latifolium Turcz. (Apiaceae Lindl.) Rare endemic kind, which is widespread within the limits of Southern Pribaikalye also concerns to 2 (V) - 3 (R) categories of a rarity. The most numerous population has appeared on the river Solsan, on the river Harlahta; the smallest population nas observed along the river Slyudyanka and Snow and along the river Babha. At comparison of five natural population of the kind it is revealed, that in the conditions close to an ecological optimum of the kind, there is a population from water-meadow the rivers Solzan and Harlahta (Baikalsk. Type refers to the "rare and endangered plants of Central Siberia," and in need of special protection in vivo growth by expanding the territory of the Baikal State Biosphere Reserve to the river basin.
