The current state of the consumer cottage cheese market

The article presents an analysis of the dairy market with an emphasis on cottage cheese, and also considers the key problems of its development in the current difficult conditions. It was found that in 2023, cottage cheese exports decreased by 28%, the key reasons were logistics failures and rising raw material costs, which affected supply volumes. Other reasons (competition, quality, insufficient consumer awareness, etc.) hindering its growth and development were also identified. It should be noted that government support is extremely important for stabilizing the crisis in the industry, and business initiatives should be aimed at creating a sustainable and competitive industry capable of meeting the needs of both the domestic and foreign markets.
