Current state of the insurance organizations in the Central federal district

the article discusses the dynamics of the number of insurance companies in the Central Federal district, and analyzed their activity in the current market conditions. Identified problems of development of insurance companies and their uneven distribution on the territory of the Russian Federation. Proposed measures to improve the activities and ways of increase of efficiency of activity of insurance organizations in the analyzed Federal district.
