Current state of the currency market of the RF

The article examines the current state of the Russian foreign exchange market, its role and place in the country's financial system. The statistical data of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on the average daily market turnover was analyzed in comparison of 2022 to 2023. The impact of sanctions on the Russian foreign exchange market is noted. A graphical analysis of the dynamics of the value of the US dollar and the ruble exchange rate allows us to draw certain conclusions about the stability of the national currency. An understanding of the impact of the key interest rate on the ruble exchange rate is given.
