The current state of vocational training in the sphere of design

The article deals with the current state of vocational design training in Russia and its conformity with the modern requirements of the labour market. The undertaken study has revealed a gap between the available educational programs in higher schools and the current requirements of the labor market (evaluation was carried out basing on the requests of employers for specialists in design).
