Modern aspects of the motivation of the professional development in the university

The article is devoted to the important problem of education - the problem of the motivation of the professional development in a pedagogical university. The authors think that the expansion of the motivational sphere of the student's personality is an important condition for optimizing the learning process. The motivational sphere of the personality has the potential for development, which, taking into account the psychological determinants raises it to a higher level. It is found that the spontaneous growth of positive mechanisms of the motivational sphere as a result of the accumulation of the professional experience is not observed. Modern aspects of the motivation of the professional development in a pedagogical university were explored by the author from the first to the fifth year of the study at the university using reflexive methods and methods of solving psychological and pedagogical problems. During the experiment, the following determinants that affect the motivational sphere of the individual were revealed: readiness for pedagogical activity, guideline, reflection, motives, direction, oriented view, pedagogical skills. The structure of the motivational sphere of the personality of first-year students is determined by a system of personality - value motives, and in the structure of the motivational sphere of the personality of the fifth-year students the following leading motives are determined: cognitive, didactical, intellectual, evaluative, creative, speech, labor and communication motives. The data obtained by the authors indicate qualitative changes in the motivational sphere of the student's personality in the fourth year of the study in the university and the prevalence of social motives in it, while in the fifth year professional and creative motives begin to predominate in this sphere.
