Modern aspects of training speech therapists: analysis of the situation, practice and results

The article analyzes: the essence of speech therapy work in the modern educational situation, the need for speech therapy assistance to students, problems and prospects for the training of teachers-speech therapists in the higher education system. The approaches to the training of speech therapists that have developed abroad and in Russia are revealed, the key problems of training speech therapists are identified, and the ways to solve them are identified.
