Modern aspects of teaching of epidemiology in training of physicians of therapeutic profile

The article is devoted to the problems of teaching of epidemiology for physicians of therapeutic profile. A t the modern period of development of health care and education the curriculum, programs, techniques and methodology of under- graduate and postgraduate education should be adapted to the needs of a modern physician. It is necessary to revise the ratio of volumes of clinical and basic disciplines, the distribution of subjects by semesters; modernization of methods of assessing knowledge and skills of students in a format of point-rating system, test knowledge control, modular principles of teaching.
