This article is devoted to the problems of the modern alcohol market. The economic indicators of alcohol production in 2023 are presented. Issues such as falsification and identification are considered. Using the example of red wines, the main research methods are considered, the results of organoleptic and physico-chemical analysis are presented. The article discusses strategies to reduce and curb the turnover of counterfeit alcoholic beverages.
