The coronavirus pandemic has become a powerful driver of the development of the global educational services market, especially in the online format - billions of dollars of deals are being concluded, shares of companies implementing educational technologies (EdTech companies) are growing rapidly, consumers have begun to pay great attention to the prospects of continuous learning. The article discusses the main innovative trends in the educational services market expected in the coming years. In modern society, education is increasingly becoming recognized as a continuous process of personal development of an individual. The “knowledge society” is gradually transforming into a “learning society”, there is a trend towards changing the functions of “knowledge keepers” to the role of “knowledge seekers”, and traditional educational centers are giving way to non-traditional and even virtual educational institutions. The term EdTech is often referred to as online education, but this concept is much broader and includes all digital technologies that help improve learning efficiency. In addition to online schools, EdTech includes the use of big data, VR and AR technologies, the use of robots and artificial intelligence in the educational process, etc. Despite the large number and variety of scientific directions in the study of various aspects of the introduction of online education technologies (EdTech technologies), this market segment continues to be poorly studied. The main modern trends in global online education are primarily related to improving the quality of services offered, developing the direction of introducing mobile courses, elements of case learning and gamification, combined learning, expanding the range of innovative educational products and formats, including those offered for various age categories. There is a growing trend in the volume of technological innovations in education.
