The article discusses approaches to the concept of "talent" and the management of talented employees. Various variants of talent classification used by foreign specialists are presented: high performers; high potentials; stars; employees occupying critical roles; core employees, etc. Inclusive, exclusive and mixed approaches to talent management are also considered, as well as the key HR functions of talent management are identified.
