In modern economic conditions, when the global economy, oriented on the use of a liberal market model, is experiencing a deep crisis, alternative economic models, in particular Islamic banking and the principles of financing according to Islamic laws, are of particular interest. However, the lack of sufficient information about the theory and practice of Islamic economics and finance makes it difficult to study the subject in depth. The relevance and insufficient degree of scientific development of the above problems, as well as their undoubted practical significance, determined the choice of topic and determined the purpose of the study. The analysis identified legal issues that arise during the implementation of the pilot project, which can be corrected with the right approach.
