Modern conceptual and scientific approaches to the formation of a system for ensuring the personal safety of employees of internal affairs bodies as part of their reform

In the article, the author gives a brief overview of modern scientific and conceptual approaches to the formation of a system for ensuring the personal safety of employees of internal affairs bodies within the framework of reforming the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (hereinafter - the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia). In this connection, separate directions of the Concept of ensuring one's own security in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, which is based on the norms of Russian and international law, are analyzed. Personal security measures are also being considered, which allow creating conditions under which it is possible not only to identify, but also to eliminate external and internal threats to the personal security of police officers performing their official duties. Priority directions of ensuring the personal safety of police officers in the field of legal protection of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are determined.
