Modern cultural contradictions in the world economy globalization

The article discusses the interactions between globalization and culture and the various theoretical scenarios for exploring these synergies. These scenarios include homogenization and hybridization. It is argued that cultures are indeed influenced and changed by contact with other cultures, but this does not necessarily mean cultural standardization or convergence with the global cultural model. Cultural openness acknowledges the differences between cultures, but does not necessarily mix them and allows cultures to benefit from the richness of other crops. The authors conclude that the interaction between globalization and culture has significant implications for both society and organizations, with the latter needing to adapt standardized practices from a local cultural perspective.
