The article deals with the problems of developing the human potential of an employee through the use of modern teaching methods in an organization. A dynamically developing market dictates new requirements for the successful work of an organization on it. To create a competitive advantage, an organization must rely on employees with high human potential. A qualified employee who is able to quickly perceive new knowledge, adapt to changes in the external environment, show creativity and non-standard thinking becomes the key to the success of the organization in the competition. Currently, more and more organizations are coming to the conclusion that, for long-term economic efficiency, it is more profitable to invest in employee training than to “buy” ready-made competencies in the external market. Modern teaching methods are able to stimulate almost all elements of the innovative component of the employee’s human potential. The organization decides for itself which set of methods to choose to achieve its goals. Certain teaching methods are more universal and stimulate the development of most innovative competencies, others are more “point” and can be used to achieve specialized tasks. A competently built system of personnel training in an organization guarantees a positive result and contributes to an increase in its competitiveness in the market.
