Modern features of formation of the municipal debt

In article questions of the public (municipal) debt and extent of their influence on economic country lives are considered. Characteristics of instruments of municipal loans and total amount of a debt of municipal units of the Russian Federation for the periods of 2015-2017 are analysed. It is revealed that the market of municipal securities in Russia has no sufficient development. It is offered to hold a debt of municipal unit in such borders which will create favorable conditions for development of the local territory.
