Modern approaches to the treatment of influenza among elderly and senile patients

The article provides an overview analysis of modern approaches to ethiopathogenetic and symptomatic therapy of influenza among the elderly and senile patients in the Volgograd region. The paper also demonstrates the predominance of typical moderate and severe forms of the subtype A(H1N1) influenza among unvaccinated elderly patients associated with concomitant chronic cardiovascular, bronchopulmonary and endocrine diseases, in terms of untimely hospitalization.
