Modern approaches to determining the structure of managerial competencies of executive personnel

Modern interpretations of the concept of "managerial competencies", as well as approaches to identifying their structure, are considered. On this basis, the structure of managerial competencies and its descriptor description for the management staff of the Russian Railways holding are presented, taking into account its priority industry tasks. Proposals on developing a competence model for the management personnel of railway transport enterprises, as well as on designing programs for improving the skills of the holding's management staff are substantiated.
