The article dwells on the problems of present-day professional and psychological Internal Affairs officers’ training to perform in operational conditions. The analysis of Russian and foreign experience makes it possible to develop the system -situational approach to the constant research of professional performance and implementing the results into the applicant’s selection process and professional and psychological training.
