This article discusses approaches to managing a business career. The article analyzes the state of the modern industrial sphere, in which managers have to make changes in the traditional personnel policy. This is due to various transformations of the structure and the increasing role of the human factor at all levels of the enterprise organization. As a result, it is advisable to search for and use new effective methods of personnel selection, since this can be considered the most important component of staffing an enterprise with the necessary amount of labor and the required qualifications, and as a consequence - ensuring the necessary volume of production and sales of products.
