Modern practices of formation of political values of the Russian youth

Through research, the author has identified two practices that influence the formation of political values among young people in the Russian Federation: directed and spontaneous. Directed practice implies purposeful activity of political institutions aimed at transmitting a certain system of values. Spontaneous practice implies unorganized, spontaneous processes that influence the formation of young people's worldview. Directed practice is characterized by a greater influence of official institutions that influence the formation of a certain value matrix among young people, called “pentabasis” (country-patriotism, state-trust, society-agreement, family-traditions, man-creation).
