Current approaches to surgical treatment of multiple cerebral aneurysms

The study included 471 patients with multiple aneurysms treated at Burdenko Neurosurgical Institute over a period from 1995 to 2011. All available surgical methods and their combinations (clipping, occlusion with coils, flow diverters) were analyzed. The results of single-stage and multi-stage surgery were compared. Postoperative mortality was 3.4%. Severe disability were observed in 9.2% of cases.
