Modern technologies of removal of biogenic elements at treatment facilities

pollution of water bodies in various regions of the Russian Federation is causing increasing concern. The condition of fresh water sources, rivers and lakes deteriorates annually from the discharge of wastewater of various origins. Therefore, the treatment and disposal of wastewater from pollution is one of the most important environmental problems of the present time and in this direction a variety of technological techniques have been developed, which are based on physical, chemical and biochemical processes of degradation of harmful components of wastewater. In this article the most known schemes of biological wastewater treatment applied at present are considered.
