The article examines the issues of using public opinion management technologies, reveals aspects of manipulating public opinion. The author reveals the peculiarities of the impact of mass media on the formation of public opinion and its management. Modern manipulation technologies are used in management processes where, in order to achieve goals, it is necessary to achieve certain behaviors from the object of influence, in this case from public opinion.
