Актуальность. Язвенная болезнь - распространённое заболевание, которое встречается у 5-10 % населения земного шара. Несмотря на резкое снижение показателей заболеваемости и госпитализации пациентов с язвенной болезнью желудка и двенадцатиперстной кишки, за последние 30 лет летальность у таких больных остаётся на высоком уровне, а осложнения встречаются с частотой от 10 до 20 %.
