Modern trends in the development of Russian-Ukrainian inter-social relations

Despite the deterioration of interstate relations between Russia and Ukraine after 2014, recent events provide some reason to believe that improvement of these relations is possible. However, inter-social Russian-Ukrainian relations inspire greater hope than interstate ones, because situationally transformed ethnicity is not able to change just as quickly the central zone of an ethnos - the focus of the experience of history and memory of culture.
