The article presents trends that are on stages of implementation by the customs authorities within the framework of the Strategy for the Development of the Customs Service of Russia. In the context of digitalization of relations that are developing in foreign economic activity, digitalization trends do not bypass the customs sphere. Through the creation and implementation of methods of operational monitoring, the selection and adoption of operational measures to prevent and minimize risks and negative trends in the field of customs, as well as eliminate the consequences of identified violations, will be carried out.
