Modern trends in andragogy (based on the example of training law enforcement personnel in professional development courses)

The article examines the essence of andragogy and highlights the characteristics of adult learning, focusing on the professional development courses for law enforcement personnel at the Academy of Law Enforcement under the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The specific features of training law enforcement officers are discussed in two aspects: first, the development of relevant educational content aimed at implementing specific practice-oriented tasks, and second, the training format - workshops. The novelty of the research lies in the creation of practice-oriented training programs tailored to contemporary needs for law enforcement personnel. This study is aimed at providing practical recommendations in the field of adult education.
