The relevance of the research topic lies in the fact that it is extremely important for managers of trading companies and brand managers to know what trends in consumer behavior exist today, and for which of them the trading company will be able to make an actual offer. Therefore, the purpose of this article will be an attempt to identify modern consumer trends in retail. The main results of the study boil down to the fact that trends in consumer behavior are developing very dynamically, it is difficult to choose and present as a constant a single criterion for the chosen consumer model. In an era when the consumer is looking for life without difficulties, in search of confidence and self-sufficiency, he is a moderator of those criteria and factors that need to be incorporated into the business model and the content itself.
