Modern threats to information security of private investors from the Russian Federation

The article is devoted to topical issues related to the increased participation of Russian citizens in the process of investing savings on the stock and cryptocurrency markets, largely due to recent changes in the geopolitical situation and fluctuations in the rates and values of assets and currencies. It is emphasized that, according to many citizens, based on information from various sources, this investment could allow them to save or increase their capital. Attention is drawn to the absence or impossibility of investors implementing mechanisms to protect against possible information security risks that can lead to serious negative consequences. The paper presents the possible types of these risks and options for their warnings.
