Contemporary conditions of Russian civil identity construction in schoolchildren

The features of mass culture and consumer society specific for the developed postindustrial countries as well as their peculiarities in Russia are observed in this article. The analyzed educational objectives and goals, set for the educational system and mentioned in the legal acts, are correlated with the prevalence conditions of mass culture. The difficulties of forming of the declared Russian values are stated. There are some facts in the modern educational system of Russia that prevent effective Russian civil identity construction in children by means of the school so it’s necessary to eliminate these obstacles to reach the objectives through the changing of educational system and its adjoining spheres of life.
