This article is devoted to the analysis of current solutions and vectors for the future developmentof artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the field of higher education. The authors found that in the modernperiod, higher scientific institutions have accumulated sufficient experience in the development and development of developing products based on AI infrastructure. In particular, the work notes that AI contributes to the organization of personalized learning at a university and provides various opportunities for developing an individual learning trajectory, considering the intellectual capabilities of the student. In addition, the articledraws attention to the fact that thanks to AI, it is possible to automate routine tasks, collect and analyze hugeamounts of data about students and their successes. At the same time, this work shows that along with the positive aspects of AI, when using it, and the emerging difficulties of introducing AI technologies in the activities of universities.
