The current stage of theory and methodology of historiography in the works of the head the Ural Scientific School of historiography V. D. Kamynina

The article provides an analysis of the views of the famous Ural historiographer V. D. Kamynina on theoretical and methodological issues of historiography of science. The presence of scientific discourse in contemporary Russian historiography environment on such issues as the scope and tasks of historiography as a scientific and academic discipline, the basic categories of modern historiographical research is revealed.
