The current context of the mechanism to form the student's cognitive competence by means of academic course

The paper proposes an approach to form cognitive competenices of university students through the implementation of metasubject conceptual relations defined by metacognitive invariants. The trajectory of presentation, taking into account the conceptual distance, allows «sewing» logically deleted parts of the course, creating a more distinct idea of the integrative nature of its individual elements in the mind of students. This contributes to their understanding of the ideological and methodological integrity of the course and allows the teacher to demonstrate a deeper relationship of academic disciplines.
