Currently, the most popular surgical intervention for deforming arthrosis of the ankle joint of the III-IV stage is arthrodesis. The developed technique of minimally invasive arthroscopic arthrodesis of the ankle joint made it possible to reduce the number of postoperative complications and completely avoided the development of postoperative wound infection. This led to a reduction in the duration of inpatient treatment by 40%, the duration of incapacity for work by 20%, and also improved the quality of life of patients, as confirmed by the AOFAS (Kitaoka) scores: during the observation period in the patients of the main group, the percentage of excellent and good Results are higher than in the control group.
