The article debunks the outdated paradigm of international relations about an exclusively aggressive dialogue of countries and civilizations, as the interaction of two “poles” in politics - the so-called West and the rest of the world, in essence, the relationship between the metropolis and the colonies. It is emphasized that in the new intercivilizational situation, many countries and peoples of Asia, Africa and Latin America have taken prominent places in the system of interstate interactions. Against the background of dialogue, which often means conflict and clash, modern political science puts forward the concept of polylogue as the most relevant form of international interactions, in which the most diverse countries, associations, unions, organizations participate. At the same time, the interests of all parties must be taken into account both in the course of communication and in making common decisions. The results of polylogues will redefine subsequent necessary dialogues, bilateral meetings and negotiations to solve specific problems. In a polylogue, there is an opportunity to manage the interaction of the parties in solving political problems, resolving political conflicts, coordinating actions, organizing and strengthening cooperation, changing political and legal norms, etc.
