The main task of author was review on matters of the contemporary lesson and problems of its improvement. The class-lesson system, established by Jan Amos Komensky, doubtlessly remains to be the base of school education. A lesson is the main form of organization of educational process, and the best aspects of the system are represented in it. The lesson has its good and bad sides. Author defines the aim of the article as review on the negative aspects of the contemporary lesson, its problems, and ways of solution. This article could be interesting for teachers of schools and pedagogical educational institutions.
