The results of modern research in the area of pathophysiology of disturbances of venous outflow were presented. The importance of vascular endothelium, as a result of its injuries by metabolic products of activated leukocytes with the development of varicose transformation, was mentioned. A study was done concerning the dynamics of markers of endothelial dysfunction.
