Creating a favorable psychological climate in teaching a foreign language at the level of primary general education

The article is devoted to the problem of creating a favorable psychological climate in teaching a foreign language in primary school. A favorable atmosphere in foreign language classes contributes to a greater emotional involvement of students in the educational process, an increased interest in the foreign language being studied, the development of foreign language communicative competence and improving the quality of foreign language education in general. The article describes the components of the psychological climate in teaching a foreign language, reveals the role of a favorable psychological climate for successful mastery of a foreign language based on the research of domestic and foreign authors. The following are the results of a study of the psychological climate and methods of its creation in foreign language lessons in primary schools in Artemovsky, Sverdlovsk region, and also some methodological recommendations that contribute to the creation of a favorable psychological climate in teaching a foreign language.
