Foundation and activities of the museum of the North Caucasus (1905-1927)

The article deals with the history of foundation and development of the Museum of the North Caucasus, which is one of the oldest regional museums in the North Caucasus. It was founded by the Stavropol Regional Scientific Archival Commission. The Museum became a basis for the modern Stavropol State Museum-Reserve that celebrated its 110th anniversary in 2015.
