Creation of pine and farming plants on deployable land north-west of Russia

The article examines the success of the development of pine and spruce plantations in the post-Arctic lands of the North-West of Russia. The results of long-term studies on the preparation and processing of areas for the growth of plantations in fallow lands are summarized. When growing high-yielding tree stands on post-agrogenic lands, it is necessary to take into account the ecological characteristics of the tree species and their compliance with soil and hydrological conditions.
