Usage of the morphological marker traits in seed growing of hybrid sunflower allow to reach high genetic purity of seeds, to reduce labour efforts for varietal field cleanings, to increase a level of protection of author’s rights for breeding achievements. In spite of a large amount of studied morphological marker traits of sunflower, the monogenic marker traits are the most desirable. The primary demand is absence of a dependence of phenotypic display of the genetic markers on crop management and environmental factors. One of such traits conditioned by the recessive gene ft is a trait of tubular ray flowers of sunflower. This trait was used as a marker one in our breeding program. The line VK 860 from the laboratory collection was used as a source of this trait. Using it we developed a group of the new lines. They are: very early maturing lines (Sli6 1702, Sli6 1703, Sli6 1737), period from the emergence to the beginning of flowering 45-48 days, and middle-early maturing lines (She 1704, Slie 1707, Sl6 1743) with a period of 55-60 days, being highly technological and having high seed productivity (1...
