Conveying of the image of teenager in the novels by S.Chaplin "The day of the sardine" and J.D. Salinger "The catcher in the rye" via lexical stylistic devices of the English language

The role of lexical stylistic devices for conveying the image of teenager is investigated in the article. Peculiarities of the teenagers` speech in the given novels are compared alongside with the teenagers` personal traits of character.
