Creation of a personnel training system for small and medium businesses in the regions of the Russian Federation

Ensuring the increase in the share of small and medium-sized enterprises in the GDP of the Russian Federation to 32.5 % by the end of 2024, provided for by the national project «Small and medium-sized enterprises and supporting individual entrepreneurial initiatives» requires taking into account all the factors that impede the achievement of the planned value of this indicator. According to many researchers, one of the factors hindering the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the country is the lack of professionalism of the entrepreneurs themselves, which actualizes the problem of training personnel for the business sector. A review of literary sources allowed the author to systematize the problems identified by researchers in the field of training personnel holding back the development of small and medium-sized enterprises into the following groups: insufficient number of educational programs on entrepreneurship implemented by institutions of secondary and higher professional education; the mismatch of the level of vocational training of graduates by educational institutions with the needs of a modern innovative economy; insufficient development of key competencies among managers of small and medium-sized enterprises in the field of economics, management, law, marketing, etc ...
