The authors studied the effectiveness of creationing transgenic rabbits producing the human granulocyte colony stimulating factor (hGCSF) by means of gene transplantation to zygote pronucleus. They evaluated embryonic loss of zygotes during the pregnancy, the effectiveness of reproduction of transgenic rabbits, the degree of inheritance of hGCSF gene and the concentration of recombinant protein in milk. The possibility of using transgenic rabbits for obtaining of pharmaceutical preparations of hGCSF is discussed.
