«To create myself» as the problem of modern education

Methodology of modern transformations in education and pedagogy anthropological project can be found in ancient practice of «self-concern». The author justifies and complements Socrates' statement «Know thyself» and proves the importance of self-making. Thus the modern statement of «self-concern» should include such concepts as power of self-determination, self-realization and self-presentation.
